Schools
The Secret Agent Society (SAS) group social skills program can be flexibly adapted for delivery within schools.
There are multiple options for school based delivery, including:
- Delivering parent group meeting content as 4 x two-hour seminars.
- Offering a teacher information session for children's regular classroom teachers and other school support staff.
- Omitting the informal child play periods.
- Increasing the program length and decreasing the duration of weekly group meetings.
Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect), in conjunction with the Social Skills Training Institute and the Australian Research Council (ARC) are implementing and evaluating the Secret Agent Society Program across multiple school satellite classes in NSW from 2010 to 2012.
